The EDS 30 insulation fault locating device is used to locate insulation faults in IT systems. The EDS 30 fault detection device communicates with the insulation monitoring device (IMD30) using ModBus RTU protocol to quickly locate the line causing the fault. It continuously scans 6 current transformers and illuminates the alarm LED of the faulty channel if a leak is detected.
